miCoach Connect-pulsmåler til iPod / iPhone
The quality of the physical product is let down by the software. Remember when buying something of this nature you are buying the software as much as you are buying the hardware. The Hardware has been faultless - the connection with my iPhone 4 has been quick and continuous. Creating the online account took a little more work - and as I have found out (and should have really guessed) the physical hardware is locked to the micoach software - it will not work with any other software on the market - I was really hoping to use this cycling - but it is designed for running sports. You can use it but the workouts are based on running and as such the readings are a little off. Do your research on both the hardware and the software. This is a good product if you are a runner.

Perfect for what i want
I'm new to running and so didn't really want much, just to know distance, calories burnt etc the lose weight programme i've started on is fantastic, really interesting to use and i haven't got bored yet (tho i'm only 2 weeks in) and it appears to have loads more options that i haven't explored yet. i love the connection to my iphone, so no fiddly leads, don't have to plug into pc etc only downside, is that you have to keep the micoach screen ontop, so changing music, answering a call, all interrupts the programme and you have to remember to go back again.. but other than that.. i love it :)

Helps me keep track on fitness
Having never used any monitors or similar I was unsure what benefit they could be
Now having used this one I can see they are good for keeping check on your heart rate whilst out running, you can also link it the the Adidas micoach software where it gives you graphs and charts on your runs, It also links well with the iPhone and associated micoach app. I have also added the speed cell and use both linked to the app when running. I have also tried Both on badminton sessions to check on comparisons between general running and actual sports
My only negative it you can only use them with the Adidas software / app, but I suppose that's what they sell it for

Great product, app could be more flexible
The heart rate monitor and micoach connect are both great products. I decided to get this one a) because of the price b) because of how neat the dongle is and c) the heart rate monitor - I'd read the Garmin Ant+ HRM was not that comfortable for women.
I'm not disappointed at all with the products themselves, my heart rate is always picked up by my phone and the strap is comfortable to wear (very quickly, I forget that I'm wearing it#.
One thing I would like to see improvement on is the app. I thought the voice coaching would be a little more inspiring and motivational, other than the stats that are fed back, the only comments I seem to receive are speed up to/slow down to/maintain green zone. I also had to log on to my PC in order to edit the length of time I wanted to run for #prior to starting one of the training programs# which was a bit of a pain as I just wanted to get out and run. Maybe I just need to use it more and spend time learning it.
Data feedback post run is great and can be seen both online and on my phone
A few tweaks to the app and this would be a really great product #even better if it interacted with other apps that I used to use!)

I have a miCoach Pacer and also an iPhone, so thought it would be good to get one of the Connects so that I didn't have to carry around the Pacer each time I go out running, since I use it to play music.
Connecting the heart rate monitor and stride sensor was easy and was done at the first attempt and the readings appear to be true, so I have been very happy using this device.
It's a shame you have to remember not to put the app in the background, but I presume there is a technical reason for this - and let's be honest, who's got the time to text and make calls when they are out running?!
My only real criticism was that I already have a heart rate monitor so would have preferred to buy just the Connect unit itself and use my existing monitor with a cheaper price (as the miCoach website alludes that you can), however I now have a spare in case one should fail. All in all I think it's a good product and will be using it as often as I can.

Very helpful training tool
This heart rate monitor in conjunction with the miCoach training app has truly helped my running progress. The app helps you stay within the proper training zones and mitigate the risk of overtraining. With this product I've found that I'm far less injury prone and I've found it much easier to commit to and finish a training program.

This sensor is without doubt the best coaching tool ever made. Combined with the micoach app and the gps this makes for a really accurate training tool.
Worth every penny. Buy it!

when you want to burn calories
I go to the gym 5 times per week. My goal is to loose weight and for that I need to stay at a certain heart beat level (different for everyone) which is 140 for me. This monitor informs me and help me to get the right heart beat in order to loose the most calories. Connected to my Itouch which never leave me when I'm at the gym, go get it
